江戸の各地とからめながら、当時の女性の生き方や人間らしい姿が
手にとるようにわかる連作である。

江戸名所百人美女・三人目は…

「江戸名所百人美女」三人目は、
日本橋にあったメインストリート十軒店に雛人形を買いに来たガール。

江戸後期には、庶民も豪華な雛人形を揃えるようになったそうですが、
少々豪華さに拍車がかかり幕府が「雛人形は25cm以内のものにしろ」と規制を出したほど。
とはいえできるだけ豪華に飾りたいので、庶民はすこしづつ
豪華な飾りを買い足していったようです。
この女性も、今年あらたに追加する飾りを買いに来たところなのです。

令和では…

そんな少女の姿を見て浮かんできたのは、ふるさと納税を選んでいる女性。

ふるさと納税を通して全国いろいろな自治体に寄付をすることで
普段は手に入らない素敵な返礼品をもらえる最高の仕組み。
ですが、納税をしてもらいたいがために返礼品を豪華にしすぎる自治体が出てきて
規制が発生してしまいました。
とはいえやっぱり納税する側はできるだけいいものが欲しい、選びたい。
この女性も、家族とどれにしようか相談しながら今年の納税先を考えているのです。

This Edo girl reminded me of people nowadays who is searching through internet what to get for their “Furusato tax” ( Tax payment system to get a tax reductions by donating to a particular municipality. It is a program to support the development of small or less-funded municipalities). Furusato tax is an amazing system which you can get fancy gift back from the municipality you have donated to. But the gift has gotten too fancy and gorgeous year by year, just because each municipality want donations from more people. The government restricted the price of the gifts sent to contributors be worth 30 percent or less of the value of each donation. But for the tax payers like her, gift that’s more gorgeous is more better. So this lady is looking through internet and talking to her family what to get this year.
